(WHTM) – It is arguably the most historically significant town in the Midstate and new grant money is preserving buildings in Gettysburg, protecting the past to attract visitors in the future. The project is funded by the state and the Department of Community and Economic Development. Main Street Gettysburg was awarded a $50,000 grant for the Façade Improvement Program in 2024. After completing that grant, the organization received another $50,000.
