LITTLESTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) — Met-Ed is estimating that power will be restored to over 3,000 customers in Adams County by 10 a.m. Tuesday. The power outage began for many around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. “It’s an equipment failure and from what we understand, it’s out on the Germany Township substation,” said Littlestown Police Chief Charles Kellar.

LOWER PAXTON TWP., Pa. (WHTM) — Documents show 48 early settlers are buried at Newside Cemetery, but there are only 19 tombstones within a fenced-in area. The graves date back to the 1740s to 1856. Newside Cemetery Restoration Project co-chair Jay Purdy says veterans are buried here who fought in the French and Indian War, War of 1812, and Revolutionary War.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Cumberland Valley Hose Company #5 was located in a brick building on Broad Street until 1975. The Chambersburg Volunteer Fireman’s Museum took over that space, but structural repairs are needed in order to keep telling the history of fire service in the borough. The building was built in 1900. It’s walls need to be stabilized. Plaster currently peels where water ran down the walls. The museum is trying to raise $100,000 for repairs.

CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) – People rummaging through cars have been caught on home security cameras. Camp Hill Police Chief Stephen Margeson says this has happened at least 40 times in 2025, with a recent uptick on Country Club Road. “There’s been no forcible entries or breaking into vehicles,” Chief Margeson says. “All of these vehicles have been unlocked.”Dr. Genevieve Regal caught the suspects on her ring camera.
