SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The FBI and nonprofits around San Antonio want to warn parents about the threat of online sextortion schemes targeting children. “Without a doubt, if your child is online, they’re going to be targeted,” says Alex Doran, the Supervisory Special Agent over the Crimes Against Children and Human Trafficking Task Force with the FBI San Antonio Field Office. It’s a traumatizing crime, especially for children.
Family holds private goodbye for Caleb Harris, student missing since March

NEW BRAUNFELS – Caleb Harris’s family recently held a private ceremony to say goodbye to the college student who disappeared in March, and whose body was found in June close to his Corpus Christi apartment. The passage of time doesn’t bring closure, because there are still so many questions. The Nueces County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Tuesday that the cause and manner of Harris’s death are still undetermined.

Michelle Bononcini and her father arrived at a parking lot off North Alamo Street for the Battle of Flowers parade last year. “We saw a parking lot, saw an attendant out with a sign that said "$30", and we were like, ‘perfect, this is just a couple blocks from where our seats were at’,” Bononcini said. They had arrived early, it was around 6:30 a.m., to get seated for the parade.
