The dry electrode used to develop the smart FES garment is based on our previous study [16]. Briefly, it is made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) mixed with 5% in weight of carbon nanotube (CNT). Then, the polymer is shaped into a thin, flexible, and conductive film thanks to a standard solution casting process, which can be easily tailored to desired sizes.
