The Moose Jaw Warriors have made a trade with Prince Albert, sending 18-year-old goalie Dimitri Fortin to the Raiders in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft. “We’d like to thank Dimitri for his contributions to the organization over the past two seasons, including during last season’s championship run,” Warriors general manager Jason Ripplinger said. Fortin was originally selected by the Warriors in the tenth round of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

The Moose Jaw Warriors are excited to announce that the organization has signed 18-year-old forward Casey Brown to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. “We are excited to add Casey Brown to our organization,” Warriors general manager Jason Ripplinger said. Brown joins the Warriors after starting the season with the Penticton Vees in the BCHL. The five-foot-11 forward from Regina, SK is committed to Arizona State University in the NCAA.

For the third time in the last two weeks, the Moose Jaw Warriors will go toe-to-toe with the Swift Current Broncos on Tuesday night at the Hangar. The Warriors lost in overtime and a shootout to the Broncos during a mid-week home-and-home earlier this month. “First and foremost, it’s always going to be about the compete,” Warriors head coach Mark O’Leary said going into another match-up against the rival Broncos.
