    A slithery standoff on a Commerce City driveway left no one rattled, after a police officer calmly wrangled an agitated rattlesnake and relocated it to a nearby open field over the weekend.     A man armed with a knife was taken into custody Monday afternoon following a prolonged standoff with police near Cheesman Park, according to the Denver Police Department. DPD first reported the incident at 4:38 p.m.. on the social media platform X. Officers responded to the scene, located at East 14th Avenue and Vine Street, according to police. DPD said officers and members of the SWAT team apprehended the man after lengthy negotiations.
