This marks the first year applicants to public universities in the Commonwealth are no longer able to indicate if they have family members who attended that school. “Legacy students are still going to have a shot to get in.     CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Former Virginia Congressman Denver Riggleman is considering a 2025 run to be Virginia’s next Governor or Lieutenant Governor. Riggleman said in an interview Tuesday with the Washington Post he’s forming an exploratory committee to look into running for the two offices. He served the Fifth Congressional District as a Republican, but said he would now run as an independent.
