A total of 325 dangerous dogs have been seized by the Met Police so far this year. With the Met having captured such dogs in almost every London borough, it seems that no area is particularly safe. However, some places are less safe than others. Three out of ten seized dogs (97 dogs) were from the five following boroughs: Lambeth, Croydon, Southwark, Lewisham and Barnet, with Lambeth having the highest number of dog seizures with 22 dogs (i.e. 7 per cent of seized dogs across London).
