Brandon Scott Berry, 24, and Erin Leigh Buchholz, 41, both pleaded no contest to a charge of conspiracy to commit witness intimidation in Huron County 52nd Circuit Court on March 17. Buchholz also pleaded no contest to tampering with an electronic monitoring device arising from an unrelated incident on March 10.

When officers arrived at the scene, they determined that a horse and buggy driven by a 35-year-old Brown City man was traveling east on West Peck Road when it was rear-ended by a white car, possibly a 2010-2012 Ford Fusion. The car reportedly fled eastbound. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police Caro Post are asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle and driver suspected of fleeing the scene of a car-buggy injury crash in Sanilac County on Friday evening.
