A crash involving multiple cars and two buses caused injuries to nearly 40 people Sunday afternoon on a section of the New Jersey Turnpike, according to CBS Philadelphia. Two buses initially crashed, followed by three vehicles riding behind the buses, the report said. New Jersey State Police said 39 people were hurt in the massive crash. All were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries, said CBS Philadelphia. The buses involved in the incident were reportedly Van Hool vehicles.

Thousands of attendees are expected at the 5 p.m. Trump MSG rally on Sunday. Longtime actor John Ashton, best known for his role as John Taggart in the “Beverly Hills Cop” franchise, has reportedly died at 76 years old. Ashton passed away peacefully in Ft. Collins, Colorado after a battle with cancer, according to TMZ.

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The big catch evaded these New York City-based Powerball players, but they’re still taking something home. A ticket rewarded one Powerball player $100,000 for the Sept. 21 drawing, lottery officials said over the weekend. It was sold at a store at 43-67 Kissena Blvd. in Flushing, Queens. Additionally, three Powerball players each won $50,000 from Saturday’s drawing.
