RIDGEWOOD — Eight years after village officials agreed to tear down the "structurally unsound" brick bus shelter at the corner of Van Neste Square and Dayton Street, it was demolished. The structure will be replaced by a three-sided glass "bus stop" type enclosure for customers boarding NJ Transit buses, said Councilwoman Pamela Perron after the demolition on Wednesday.
