Sherman hopped on over to Fluff Bake Shop in Noblesville this week. The business is the culmination of a couple's dream to own their own business. Neal and Angie Fine opened the shop on Jan. 2 in the former Rebellion Doughnuts building at 7677 Cumberland Rd.Fluff Bake Shop is open Thursday through Sunday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. The business specializes in sweet treat and doughnuts, along with handcrafted espresso and artisan paninis. The Fines formerly ran Wheelers Cafe and Market.

INDIANAPOLIS - Jurors convicted a Marion County man in a child molesting case in which he repeatedly victimized a minor over the course of four years. Jose Alvuaiza-Alcantara was found guilty on five counts, including three Level 1 felony counts of child molesting and Level 4 felony counts of child molesting and sexual misconduct with a minor. Jurors handed down the verdict on Wednesday.
