LANCASTER, Pa. — People in downtown Lancaster are taking a seat in the barber’s chair and getting a fresh cut to fight childhood cancer. On Saturday, more than 50 people flocked to Annie Bailey's Irish Pub for the 17th Annual St. Baldrick's Day event. The popular fundraiser has been shaving heads to support pediatric cancer research. “I’m at least two degrees colder," said Greg Zittle after his haircut.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — After four hours of walking, Joe Hall finally made his way down State Street towards the Capitol Building—checking off another stop on his cross-country adventure. "This is a marathon, not a sprint," said Hall, making his way up the Capitol steps. Over the next three years, Hall will be visiting all 48 states and capitals in the continental U.S. as part of his "Hall Across the Country" campaign.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — State Troopers will be adding new technology to their uniforms in an effort to improve police transparency. On Thursday, the Pennsylvania State Police announced the completion of their two-year initiative to equip all State Troopers with body cameras. The initiative deployed more than 2,000 cameras to all 89 State Police stations in the Commonwealth. State Police have also improved mobile video recorders in more than 1,400 patrol vehicles.

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A sale of Dauphin Highlands Golf Course is being teed up, leaving area golfers feeling stuck in the sand. In February, the Dauphin County General Authority, which owns the 32-year-old golf course, put out a Request for Proposal form for anyone interested in purchasing the 228-acre property. A spokesperson with the authority said it had previously received unsolicited offers by data centers to purchase the land.

YORK, Pa. — An estimated 500,000 people at more than 1,000 events gathered to rally against the Trump Administration during the "Hands Off" Day of Protest. In York, hundreds of people lined up along Market and George Street to join in the nationwide protest. Many expressed their anger over President Trump’s handling of deportations, DOGE, Social Security and tariffs during his first few months in office.
