EAU CLAIRE — The defendant in a child pornography case was the subject of a short-lived warrant Wednesday. Bradley Simons, 59, Eau Claire, is charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, along with charges of removal of a major part of a vehicle and criminal damage to property. Court records indicate he wasn’t in the courtroom at 9 a.m. Wednesday, when a status hearing for his case was scheduled. That led prosecutors to ask for a warrant.
