Dummer Down Brewery, at Dummer Down Farm, has a selection of festivals for all the family to enjoy this summer. Among the events are a beer festival, live folk music, and even a food festival. A civic procession was held to celebrate the 764th Mayor-Making ceremony in Salisbury this afternoon, Saturday, May 10. Hundreds of residents looked on as the Salisbury Giant led the way from St Thomas's Church to the guildhall, followed by scores of mayors and councillors, past and present, from Salisbury and beyond.

Manmeet Singh, 25, of Sutton Court Road, Uxbridge, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – cocaine, using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance, and driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence.
