On May 22, the Baltimore County Council unanimously approved the county executive’s $4.78 billion fiscal year 2026 budget. “This uncertain budget season has presented unique challenges, and I am proud Baltimore County is working to overcome these challenges with a responsible, commonsense budget that delivers uninterrupted County services without raising taxes for our residents,” Baltimore County Executive Kathy Klausmeier said in a statement following the approval.
