An Aurora police officer suffered minor injuries while chasing a stolen pickup truck when they crashed into an uninvolved woman’s vehicle Friday morning, according to police. The woman was not injured, and the officer was taken to a hospital, Aurora Police Department spokesperson Joe Moylan wrote in an email. Police spotted the stolen Ford F-150 Raptor in District 2, which includes parts of north and central Aurora, at about 5:51 a.m., Moylan wrote.

Boulder police are seeking an Arizona woman who they say missed a court date after brandishing a knife at a school group and threatening them this week. Alyssa Fate Barger, 31, faces 19 charges of felony menacing and 17 counts of child abuse, according to court records. Police said in a news release that an arrest warrant for failure to appear was also issued after Barger did not show up for a court hearing Thursday afternoon.

A man was wounded while driving with a woman and child Friday afternoon after he and another driver got into an argument that led to a shooting, Thornton police say. Officers responded to 104th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard at about 5:50 p.m. on a report of a shooting, according to a police social media post. Investigators believe the argument between the two escalated when the suspect — described as a short, “chubby” Hispanic male with long hair — drew a handgun and shot the man in the arm.

A fugitive arrested at Centennial’s Southglenn Library last year has pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer, according to court records. Sean Hanneman, 56, was wanted for parole violations and escape in August, when deputies spent hours searching for him near a Centennial home. They caught up with him at the library in September — Hanneman tried to flee on foot and was tackled by members of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Response Team.

The lucky buyer of a Colorado Lotto+ ticket from a Parker gas station won the game’s $12,445,438 jackpot this week, according to a Colorado Lottery news release. Purchased at the QuikTrip near Market Street and Jordan Road, the ticket matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday — 5-6-15-37-38-40 — and carries a lump-sum cash value of $6,222,719. The last Colorado Lotto+ ticket to win a jackpot was drawn Nov. 13 and was worth $2.6 million paid in annual installments or $1.3 million in cash.
