A Detroit man is behind bars after authorities said he stabbed his friend in the chest following an argument at a gas station earlier this month. Gregory Anthony Clark, 66, faces a charge of manslaughter, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison, Oakland County Prosecutor Karen D. McDonald announced Monday.

A New York company is recalling packages of its Beijing Soybean Paste food treats, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced. The 8.82-ounce (250-gram) packages of the product, made by May Flower International Inc. of Maspeth, New York, "may contain undeclared wheat," the FDA said. "People who have allergies to wheat may risk serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products," the agency said.

A Wayne County woman was ejected from her vehicle and died after her Jeep slammed into a bridge abutment Monday evening on Interstate 275 near Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus. The Detroit Regional Communications Center received 911 calls around 7:10 p.m. reporting a crash on southbound I-275, at West Huron River Drive, just west of the airport, Michigan State Police said in a social media post.
