One in seven of the crashes that occur every 44 seconds in Florida is because of a distracted driver. The most common distraction while driving is texting, but the Florida Highway Patrol says it can also include eating or drinking or changing the radio.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash on I-4 in Volusia County.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 8 p.m. on Thursday night on I-4 westbound just before SR-44 in DeLand.Troopers say the 21-year-old motorcyclist was traveling in the center lane when he tried to change lanes to the outside lane and crashed into the back of a tow truck.The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.The driver of the tow truck was not injured...
