Penzi began competing in gymnastics at the age of eight. When she began her training in level seven, Penzi met a Russian Olympic Coach who rubbed off on her. “The perfectionism and desire to be the best really helped me rise to the top of my sport,” Penzi said.

    HAMPTON ROADS — When Terri Graham was pregnant with her son, all sonograms pointed to a healthy baby boy. “I had him when I was 46, so I was very high risk. They took ultrasounds all the time and it always looked like Graham had his fist in his mouth,” Terri explained. But when that little boy was born, Terri found out that his right arm had never developed. Without his right arm, Graham Wallace had to learn to do things differently from other kids his age.
