RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Weather impacts the game of golf a lot. And we’re not just talking about a stormy, rainy day when you can’t get out and play. RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Once you get the First Alert that a tornado warning is issued, it’s time to activate a safety plan for you and your family, no matter where you are. Taking them seriously is extremely important because it can be a life-or-death situation. If you are at home when severe weather hits, getting to a safe place is essential. That would be a basement if you have one. If not, go to the lowest level of your home possible and away from windows in the interior and most of your home.
