RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A few storms today could bring gusty damaging winds, heavy rain that could cause flooding and a low-end tornado threat. Sunday: First Alert Weather Day: Patchy fog this morning. Muggy with a mix of sun and clouds. Scattered showers and storms likely 3 PM to 8 PM. A storm is possible outside of that window. A few storms could become strong to severe with damaging winds and flooding rainfall. Our tornado threat is low. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Debby is making landfall near the Big Bend in Florida overnight as a Category 1 Hurricane. The Gulf Coast of Florida is experiencing storm surge, hurricane force winds and inland flooding. Debby will weaken to a tropical storm as it pushes further inland, but will remain a dangerous storm. Historical rainfall and catastrophic flooding is expected in southeastern Georgia and South Carolina.
