After two soaking rains in the second week of April, rain has been spotty since. The following counties in the 12 On Your Side viewing area are in a “Drought Watch” and are highlighted in yellow:Caroline, Essex, Gloucester, King George, King William, King and Queen, Lancaster, Louisa, Mathews, Mecklenburg, Middlesex, Northumberland, Orange, Richmond and Westmoreland counties.
