Keniyah Brenae Williams, 19, of Woodville died after being shot in the head late Tuesday night in what police believe was a domestic dispute, according to a news release from the Jasper Police Department.     An eleventh and twelfth suspect are in custody after a string of rival group shootings, and 19-year-old Latrick Williams was arrested for tampering with evidence and resisting search. On Tuesday, Williams went to the Beaumont Police Department to speak with detectives about the recent shootings on Maddox Street and other locations, and was informed during the interview that he had an arrest warrant for unlawful carrying weapon.

    Nobody was injured after a semi-truck caught fire in Jefferson County. The truck caught fire around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday after the plastic it was carrying caught fire, according to Jefferson County Sheriff Zena Stephens. Stephens said that once the fire started, the driver was able to detach the trailer and call for help. The fire has since been put out and the truck and trailer were towed.

    A closure has been announced for the Eastex Interchange project. There will be alternating lane closures on Interstate 10 westbound frontage road at Calder Avenue from 8 a.m. 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Transportation. Contractors will be installing temporary traffic signals, the department said. This closure is part of the Eastex Interchange Project.
