Two people were injured after a crash on Interstate 10 last week. Around 7:50 a.m. April 16, a Ford F-250 was headed west on Interstate 10 near Major Drive but stopped because a work crew was picking up a log in the road. The driver of a tractor-trailer failed to control his speed and rear-ended the Ford, according to Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Sgt. Shana Clark.

A Vidor trailer fire on Friday killed a man and injured a firefighter. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it is believed to have been accidental, Orange County Emergency Service District 1 Chief Robert Smith said. Three people were injured after a car crashed into a tractor-trailer in Beaumont on Tuesday. Around 7:25 a.m. on Tuesday, a tractor-trailer was eastbound on Farm-to-Market Road 365, while a pickup truck was northbound on Labelle Road and stopped at the stop sign. The driver of the pickup allegedly failed to yield to the tractor-trailer and pulled into its lane, hitting the left side of the truck, a news release from the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
