    NAVASOTA, Texas — The Navasota Police Department (NPD) is mourning the loss of one of its own after he crashed his vehicle head-on with a forgery suspect during a wrong-way chase Wednesday. Sgt. Mark Butler and the suspect died in the crash on Highway 6 near Navasota around 3:30 p.m., according to the department. "This is a heartbreaking day for our department and our city," said NPD Chief Michael Mize.

    CRAWFORD, Texas — The parents of a former Crawford ISD student filed a federal lawsuit in October accusing the school district of failing to address severe bullying, harassment and sexual assault their son reportedly experienced over a two-year period. The lawsuit alleges that the student, who was diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed medication that reportedly stunted his growth, was targeted because of his small stature and perceived lack of masculinity by the other students.

NHC anticipates the storm will make landfall by Wednesday, but will it hit Texas? Where is Milton?
