SCRANTON, Pa. — As the city of Scranton transforms into a sea of green, a sea of students is still on campus at the University of Scranton—an unusual sight ahead of Parade Day. "I think it's just a big thing for the campus to get together and celebrate the occasion of being students here," said Stevie Wilkinson, junior. The university says this is the first time in several years that the Scranton St. Patrick's Parade Day falls while classes are still in full swing.

LUZERNE COUNTY, Pa. — Beau's days are usually spent alongside his family. It's a cozy life snuggling on the couch with his siblings. "He's always either sitting on you, or in between your legs, or behind you on the top of the couch. He always has to be touching someone," said his owner, Kassandra Congdon. The one-and-a-half-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer also loves to help dad hunt. The breed is known for its hunting and pointing skills, and Beau gets plenty of time outdoors.

SCRANTON, Pa. — The competition is heating up in the Diocese of Scranton as priests throughout Luzerne County and Lackawanna County are stepping away from the altar and into the heat of the kitchen. "There are some priests who are outstanding cooks and make meals that anybody would be proud to say they made or they could consume. Even the bishop makes really outstanding meals," said Fr. Cyril Edwards of Mary Mother of God Parish in Scranton.
