Tulsa police shot two people — one fatally — and at least four other people were injured following a crowd fight in which multiple people fired guns early Sunday downtown, the department said. About 12:30 a.m., a large crowd that was gathered in the area of 2nd Street and Elgin Avenue, "began to turn volatile," Tulsa police said in a social media post. Although several officers were already on the scene, a call was made for additional officers to assist, TPD said.

A woman and a 12-year-old boy died following flooding in Moore, amid three to seven inches of rain that has fallen in the state since Friday. Police in the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore, received dozens of reports of “high-water incidents” over the weekend including two cars stranded in flood waters Saturday evening. One car was swept away under a bridge, and police said they were able to rescue some people, but a woman and 12-year-old boy were found dead.

Southwest now offers nonstop flights to NashvilleSouthwest Airlines and Tulsa International Airport announced daily nonstop service from Tulsa (TUL) to Nashville International Airport (BNA). The flight is 90 minutes. Southwest is the only commercial airline offering nonstop service between Tulsa and Nashville. OSU business school lobby renamed to BOK FinancialOklahoma State University announced a $2 million gift from BOK Financial and will name its business school lobby the BOK Financial Lobby. The area "is a favorite spot among students and is a prominent feature of the business building, which opened its doors in 2018," an OSU news release said. The money will help support the facility’s long-term operations.
