    TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo has changed the way it charges people for sewer usage by eliminating winter averaging. Utilities leaders said this will lead to some differences on your sewer bill, which is why city council held a Q&A session Wednesday. "I'm not in a position to be able to afford all of those extras," said one Toledoan tearfully after learning about these new changes to sewer billing, worried she might no longer be able to afford to fill her backyard pool in the summer.

    TOLEDO, Ohio — Taking a stroll through the halls of UAW Local 12 Thursday morning, Bruce Baumhower reflected on the many decades of history hanging on its walls. A history he helped to write. A familiar face appeared as he passed the many portraits on the wall—his very own. "Yeah, that guy there, he has to come down. They have to find someone else to put up there," Baumhower said with a laugh. Always humble, Baumhower would never mention he is the longest-serving president in Local 12's history.
