ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A 16-year-old passenger was killed in a Sunday afternoon crash involving four vehicles, according to the Asheboro Police Department. At approximately 3 p.m., the APD made a Facebook post that officers were working a serious crash on East Dixie Drive near Dublin Road, and that the westbound lane was temporarily closed. The 16-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger was airlifted to a regional medical facility.

STATESVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol arrested and charged a man after two people were killed in a crash on 1-77 South Saturday night. At 10:10 p.m., the NCSHP responded to a fatal crash on I-77 South near mile marker 32. A 2006 Ford F-250 was traveling south on I-77 when it struck a southbound 2023 Kia Sportage, causing both vehicles to travel off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail. This caused the Kia to overturn.

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The woman accused of stabbing a man in the parking lot of the Interactive Resource Center has been arrested, according to the Greensboro Police Department. At 10:27 a.m. Thursday, police and Guilford County EMS responded to a stabbing in the parking lot of the IRC, located at 407 E. Washington Street.
