According to MHA, it’s a 99-unit senior affordable housing development located within the mixed-income Legends Park Community in Memphis’ Medical District. The development houses people aged 62 or older.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Back on May 8th, 1925, Tom Lee saved over 30 people after a steamboat overturned on the Mississippi River. Quincy Morris, the Executive Director of Klondike Smokey City CDC, said Lee didn’t even hesitate to jump into a boat and save people, despite not knowing how to swim. Morris said that’s why they started looking for a way to honor Lee’s life. “We’re in the process of getting a historical marker in front of 923 Mansfield and it will celebrate his life,” said Morris.

    SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) - An ambulance crashed into Baptist DeSoto Hospital on Wednesday morning. Southaven Police Department says one person is in custody. The ambulance was reportedly stolen. There were minor injuries resulting from the crash, but its unclear how many people were hurt.
