INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A group of teens were arrested Sunday afternoon after they were caught shoplifting fireworks from Walmart before leading police on a brief chase in a stolen car. The juveniles have not been identified, but face charges including theft, resisting law enforcement, and dangerous possession of a firearm. Online police reports show their ages ranging from 15 to 16.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — At least one person was fatally injured in an accident on Indianapolis’ northwest side, Indianapolis police say. Online police reports show the crash happened around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of West 64th Street and Michigan Road. An additional run showed Indianapolis firefighters dispatched to the scene for a “personal-injury accident with motorcycle.” It was not clear how many vehicles were involved or if there were any other injuries.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A male found stabbed outside a northwest side apartment complex died after arriving at a hospital in critical condition, Indianapolis police said Thursday. The Marion County coroner identified the male Friday as Brian McCoy Jr., 31. The stabbing incident happened around 11:15 a.m. Thursday in the 2900 block of Waterfront Parkway West Drive. That’s across the street from the Waterfront Pointe Apartments near the I-465 and I-74 split.

(CNN) — Two men have been found guilty of criminal damage for felling a landmark sycamore tree in northern England. Daniel Graham, 39, and Adam Carruthers, 32, were each found guilty of two counts of criminal damage, one relating to the tree and the other to Hadrian’s Wall that the tree fell on, according to the UK’s PA Media news agency on Friday. The verdict was handed down following a trial at Newcastle Crown Court in northeast England. Both men will be sentenced on July 15.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A former Marion County deputy faces charges after police say he was caught on camera shoplifting several times from an east side Walmart – some of the times while in uniform. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says Timothy Beavo was fired on April 2, just days after he was caught stealing a bottle of fish oil supplements from the Walmart in the 10000 block of East Washington Street. He’d been with the sheriff’s office since 2002.
