    A New Freedom man who had previously been accused of a shooting outside a William Penn Senior High School football game in 2016 has been convicted of first-degree murder in the December 2022 shooting death of Demetres Lewis in York, according to court records. Stephon Brown, a 22-year-old who had once been on the York City Police Department's most-wanted list, was convicted in the death of 34-year-old Lewis after a five-day trial. Judge Joseph Adams scheduled sentencing for Aug. 25.
