    A man is dead after an incident involving Omaha police officers Saturday night, police said. Deputy Police Chief Scott Gray said that at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, two officers conducted a traffic stop at 31st Avenue and Taylor Street. Upon completing the stop, the driver fled on foot, Gray said. There was a foot pursuit, followed by an altercation, and shots were fired. Gray said the man was taken to a hospital and declared dead. A firearm was recovered at the scene.

    A man who was injured in a crash caused by an alleged drunken driver Aug. 30 has died, Omaha police said Monday. On Aug. 30, officers responded to the area of Interstate 680 and Dodge Street about 10:58 p.m. for a reported crash. Investigators said a vehicle driven by Talynn O'Shaughnessy-Chaney, 26, of Omaha, was traveling south on I-680 and changed lanes before colliding into a vehicle driven by George Young, 88.
