ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — As part of a pilot program the Broncos are testing, a small group of randomly selected season-ticket holders now have another option if they can't go to a game this season. The option: Return the tickets to the team and receive credit to essentially use them next year. It's a pilot buy-back program the Broncos are testing with a few hundred season ticket holders that applies for up to three games a season. This group was notified of the buy-back option Tuesday morning.

DENVER — After talking it over with his district attorney, Riverside County (Calif.) Sheriff Chad Bianco has decided to keep open the investigation into the fatal golf-cart incident that resulted in the death of John Elway’s longtime marketing representative and close friend Jeff Sperbeck. The incident occurred April 26 as Elway was driving a golf cart out of the Madison Club toward his home a quarter-mile away in the private golfing community.
