TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Wednesday was another scorcher, with afternoon highs reaching the upper 90s in some spots. Overnight lows will dip into the mid 70s. An isolated shower or two is possible this evening. Thursday will feature partly cloudy skies, only a few showers, and high temperatures in the mid 90s. A backdoor front will usher in some slightly drier air Thursday night into Friday. This will knock our morning lows down into the low 70s for a day or two.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Our summery pattern of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms continued for most of our area today, with a few slow-moving storms causing some minor flooding. While those storms will end this evening, rain chances will stay slightly above normal tomorrow and this weekend. Slightly drier air will gradually lower our rain chances a bit next week, which also means slightly hotter afternoon temps with highs next week back in the mid 90s.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Slightly drier air in place has helped to lower the dewpoints, bringing the Big Bend and South Georgia a break from the high humidity. Although the humidity may be lower, the temperatures will not be. Our afternoon highs on Friday will reach the mid to upper 90s and stay there through the weekend. During this period, rain chances will be on the lower side.
