My first site was Helping Hand, which curated the best sites from around the web to help people with their computers and navigate resources on the Internet. Years later, I sold the domain to a company that helped folks quit smoking, one of my first big contracts. I began blogging on Blogger and waxed poetic about everything from politics to Internet tools.

STORM WATCH: Mostly cloudy today with steady batch of rain for New Jersey•Jul 24, 2024, 10:20 AM•Updated 8 min agoThere will be periods of unsettled weather today - defined as seemingly random moments of rain showers with a popup thunderstorm possible this afternoon. The weather may look to improve with breaks of midday sun, but the humidity keeps the air unstable where any storms that form may produce a localized area of flooding.

Mostly cloudy and humid in New Jersey; scattered pop-up showers possible•Jul 29, 2024, 9:53 AM•Updated 14 min agoA high level of humidity creates an unstable environment that will increase the chances for rain throughout this week across the state. Most chances for rain occur in the late afternoon and evening as a result of sunshine. These storms are not guaranteed for everyone, and some communities may indeed stay dry, but the scattered shower chances threaten everyone evenly.

It's not a washout this weekend, but storms are in the forecast. I wouldn't cancel plans. Sure, it'll be mostly cloudy and t-showers may/will happen, but each shower/storm shouldn't last too long. @News12NJ #NJwx https://t.co/ItxyEjGJP7

🥵Hot, hazy, & humid weather continues for the next 3 days. 🌩A rogue t-storm or two is possible late today. Scattered ones away from the beaches on FRI PM. 🌤⛈🌥SAT isn't terrible, but there will be some interruptions of scattered t-storms. @News12NJ #NJwx https://t.co/72DSui1ugD

TODAY: Air Quality Alert due to heat & humidity 🥵THU: Hot & humid. A stray/rogue PM t-shower in northern NJ. 🤔FRI: Hot & humid again. Scattered t-storms in N & W NJ after 3pm. 🙄SAT: Nice early, but then passing t-storms statewide for the afternoon and evening. @News12NJ #NJwx https://t.co/IUehbLwaRR
