Dylan Widger-Imagn Images The most successful and memorable month of Louisville baseball in quite some time came to an end Wednesday afternoon with a 11-3 loss to Coastal Carolina at the College World Series. Dylan Widger-Imagn Images At the very least, the Louisville baseball team will be one of last four standing in 2025. Dan McDonnell’s team staved off elimination for the third time in its last four games and exacted some revenge in the process with a dramatic 7-6 elimination game win over Oregon State Tuesday afternoon in Omaha. The Beavers broke U of L’s heart with a 4-3 walk-off win on Friday night.
