The Cardinals will host Kansas in an exhibition game on Oct. 24. Tip time and television details will be released at a later date. U of L, in turn, will travel to Lawrence for an exhibition game on a to-be-determined date before the 2026-27 season.

    At long last, June baseball is coming back to Jim Patterson Stadium. Louisville will face Miami in a best-of-three series beginning Friday at 3 p.m. on ESPN2. The winner moves on to Omaha and the College World Series. The loser sees its season come to an end. Game two of the Super Regional will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. and ESPN will have the television coverage. If the series goes to a game three, then the start time for the rubber match on Sunday will be announced following Saturday’s game.
