The scheduling news comes with a catch. This season’s game will reportedly be played at the “neutral” site of Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, with the return game in 2026 being played at the “neutral” site of Freedom Hall in Louisville.

The NBA Draft prospect camp will be held May 9-11 in Chicago at Wintrust Arena. The camp provides the opportunity to draft prospects to showcase their skills in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches and front office executives.

All teams will play 16 opponents once and one opponent twice. —USA Today has a post-spring ranking of all 136 FBS programs. Louisville sits at No. 16. —The ACC is hopeful that a new stable of coaches will spark a resurgence for the conference. Only four ACC teams made the NCAA Tournament, and UNC’s inclusion in the First Four was plenty controversial.

It’s the earliest in a season that the game has ever taken place, and just the second time ever that the game has been played in November (Nov. 27, 1993). The tip-off time for the game and its TV designation will be announced at a later date. Let’s get this out out of the way immediately: This is weird.
