Edwards takes over at the RiversideFormer Luton boss Rob Edwards labelled it a ‘real privilege’ to make his return to management having been named as the new head coach of Championship outfit Middlesbrough this morning. The 42-year-old had been out of work since January when he left the Hatters following just over two years in charge at Kenilworth Road, leading the club to the Premier League via the Championship play-off final victory over Coventry City at Wembley in May 2023.

Youngster Lowe linked with a switch to Kenilworth RoadLuton Town are rumoured to be interested in signing Stoke City forward Nathan Lowe on a season-long loan. The 19-year-old came through the ranks with the Potters, making his senior debut in the 1-0 defeat at Blackpool in February 2023. He bagged his first Stoke goal in September 2023 as City won 3-2 at Bristol City in the Championship, the only time he scored in 15 appearances that campaign.
