Missing girl: Lucy Beaumont (Image: Essex Police) A MISSING young girl, who has been reported as missing from Harlow has been found, police have confirmed. Essex Police have released an appeal in the hopes of finding 13-year-old Lucy Beaumont. The teenager is described as white, slim, 5ft 1 and it is believed she may be wearing a blue jumper and black skirt and carrying a big black handbag. Police are asking for anyone with information to get in touch.

Festive - youngsters meeting Paw Patrol stars at the event in 2022 (Image: Paul Ost Photography) A BELOVED Christmas fayre will be making a big return to Tiptree this year, it has been confirmed. The Tiptree Christmas Street Festival will be back in action on Thursday, November 21, from 5pm to 9pm in Church Road, Tiptree. Organisers have confirmed the big festive celebration is back “by popular demand” after not being held since 2022.

Site - proposed site for nine homes in Tiptree (Image: Google) PLANS for a development of nine homes in Tiptree have been met with objection from a parish council. Tiptree Parish Council discussed the plans for Highlands in Kelvedon Road in Tiptree at its latest planning meeting. The application looks to redevelop the site to build a street of nine homes on the land, which is currently used for commercial purposes.

Tempting - we tried a dessert from the new Minoffles shop in Colchester (Image: Newsquest) WHO doesn’t love a sweet treat after an afternoon of shopping in Colchester? That’s what I thought when I went into the new dessert shop in Lion Walk Shopping Centre. Minoffles recently opened the doors to its fourth store in the country, at 18b Culver Walk. The dessert shop is open from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm.

Scheduled - multiple roads are set for long-term closures In the City of Colchester, Childwell Alley will be temporarily closed from its junction with George Williams Way for a distance of approximately 80m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on April 11 for five days. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
