King Charles III was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in February 2024. 2 1/1 LAST year the UK lost 37 shops a day, with 13,500, closing for good in 2024, according to the Centre for Retail Research. Unfortunately Collectors Cave, in Eld Lane, Colchester, will be joining these statistics by the end of the month. Along with many other resident nerds and geeks of the city, I am upset to hear the news of its closure.
