PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man who police say was booted from a Peoria sports bar Tuesday night died in a shooting after being asked to leave the bar. Police responded to the reported shooting just before midnight at Deli Sports Bar near the Loop 101 Agua Fria freeway and Peoria Avenue. Officers pronounced a man dead at the scene, and another person was hospitalized with serious injuries.

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — An employee of a crumb rubber plant in the East Valley has tragically lost his life after a workplace accident overnight. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. at CRM of America near Pecos and Meridian roads in east Mesa. The manufacturer specializes in crumb rubber that’s used for rubberized asphalt, sports fields, track infill and rubber-molded products. Mesa Police said the male employee fell into a piece of equipment and was then trapped.
