GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is in the hospital after he was hit by a vehicle in Goodyear early Thursday morning. The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. near Litchfield and McDowell roads. Goodyear Police confirmed a man was hit by a vehicle, and he was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Officers said the man was not crossing the road in a marked crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.

A Phoenix Fire spokesperson said crews responded to the crash around 1:30 a.m. at 19th Avenue and Vineyard Road, between Southern Avenue and Baseline Road. Three people were rescued from the crash and taken to a nearby hospital.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A person is seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle overnight on Interstate 10 in west Phoenix. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said around 4 a.m. that troopers are investigating a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on I-10 near 35th Avenue. DPS said the pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Troopers have closed the I-10 freeway eastbound at the “The Stack,” the interchange with I-17.
