MONROE, LA (KTVE/KARD) — We are officially 10 days away from giving away the 2024 St. Jude Dream Home to one lucky winner!! If you haven’t reserved your ticket yet, now is the time to do it. We have less than 16% of tickets remaining and our goal is to sell out before the giveaway. This year, NBC 10 and FOX 14 want to raise $850,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

TALLULAH, LA (5/13/24)– A never-ending cycle of water problems continues for the city of Tallulah. Tonight residents heard from city and state officials at a virtual community water meeting to get an update on when this problem would be resolved. According to the Mayor of Tallulah, they currently have $15,270,000 available from loans, grants, and the state to go towards fixing or finding a solution for the Tallulah Water Services.

(KTVE/KARD) — Construction has been completed, walls are painted, and furniture has been moved in. The 2024 St. Jude Dream Home is ready to have an owner call this place home. As the home prepares for open house tours this weekend, a ribbon cutting took place Thursday to celebrate the hard work of our sponsors and the St. Jude Dream Home team. We want to say a big thank you to the community members who have already reserved their $100 ticket so far.

RUSTON, La. (KTVE/KARD)– Rev. Kenneth Sapp of Arcadia was arrested after allegedly exposing himself to an undercover officer in the public restroom at the Stoner Boat Launch in Shreveport before midnight Thursday. Sapp, the 63-year-old pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Ruston, was also found to be in possession of 30 grams of suspected marijuana, 21 grams of suspected meth, multiple glass pipes, and an unlabeled bottle of pills. Officers also found a handgun in Sapp’s possession.
