For 90 days, 10 chairs, called WHILL devices, will be available to travelers as part of a partnership with Unifi. The chairs can drop off passengers at specific gates without an employee navigating them and stop if an obstacle is in the way.

By Myesha Johnson, The Detroit NewsSouthfield police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Saturday night. Around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, officers found a man bleeding from a stab wound at a BP gas station at 22000 West Eight Mile Road, according to a release from the Southfield Police Department. The man was taken to a local hospital where he died, police said. Police did not disclose the identity of the victim, but did say the victim knew the suspect.
