    An overnight crime spree targeted the San Fernando Valley and police say the burglary crew hit all four businesses in under 20 minutes. The business owners, some who have been hit before, are frustrated and say that are running out of patience with the justice system. Police are investigating the four burglaries which took place around the same time in the morning along Ventura Boulevard on Friday. They say the crimes are connected.

This Inland Empire attraction brings annual crowds with its festive Christmas lights, trees, and fan-favorite characters. “It’s magical,” said Paul Hampton, former Pasadena firefighter who has been decorating his home for the last three years.

    The Los Angeles Police Department’s air support division is the largest of its kind in the nation with 17 helicopters and over 90 employees. However, in the first-ever audit of the LAPD helicopter program, the City of Los Angeles Controller’s Office found that 61% of its flight time is spent on low-priority incidents, costing L.A. taxpayers nearly 50 million dollars a year.

    The 2024 Rose Parade is just three weeks away and preparations for the participating floats are well underway. Hundreds of volunteers will spend the next month hammering, gluing, and painting 40 elaborate floats. Part of the preparation also means temporarily suspending outdoor dining along Colorado Boulevard. Several restaurants along the parade’s route are being forced to shut down their outdoor dining by this Thursday to prepare for the massive event.

    After 116 days on the picket lines, SAG-AFTRA actors are still unsure when a final agreement will be reached. Deadline reports that negotiations could resume Monday evening between SAG-AFTRA and the major studios. The latest demonstration comes three days after the major studios presented the Guild with what they called their “last, best and final offer.” Industry analysts warn, however, that “last, best and final” doesn’t mean the offer is solidified.
