BUFFALO, N.Y. — A teacher at West Hertel Academy has been placed on paid administrative leave, according to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Public School District. In a statement to 2 On Your Side, the district said "a teacher at West Hertel Academy was placed on paid administrative leave on May 12, 2025. The district has no further comment." Right now, it's unclear why the teacher, who has not been named by the district, was placed on leave.
