Police say they are "making enquiries" after a car appeared to be hoisted up by a group of young men and pushed over onto its side. The incident is believed to have happened in the Eglinton Street area of Portrush, near the train station. A video circulating on social media appears to show a group of men tipping a small, yellow coloured car over in what police have described as "criminal damage".

Police in Derry have been attacked with petrol bombs, after a controversial dissident republican parade went ahead on Easter Monday. Several petrol bombs were thrown at police monitoring the parade from the Derry Walls as it made its way from Creggan to Free Derry Corner in the Bogside on Monday afternoon. Those taking part in the parade wore paramilitary style clothing, despite a ban in place following a Parades Commission determination.

As prayers for the departed pontiff echo around the globe, focus is shifting towards the process of selecting his successor. Derry Girls and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has helped raise thousands for the 'Not A Phase' trans rights charity, following a legal ruling by the UK's highest court last week. The judgement by the UK’s highest court said that the terms “woman” and “sex” in the 2010 Equality Act “refer to a biological woman and biological sex”. Nicola Coughlan said she was “completely horrified” and “disgusted” by the ruling and said she would match donations up to £10,000 to transgender charity Not A Phase.
