The city has earmarked about $9.6 million for road improvements, including Kettering’s asphalt resurfacing program, he said. “It’s pretty much in line with previous years,” Bergstresser said. The road surfacing for this year was $9.4 million compared to $8.2 million in 2023, Kettering records show. Kettering’s capital projects are part of a 2025 budget city council approved this week that includes an $81.66 million general fund, according to city documents.

The high school/junior high building was the focus of Phase 1 of the district’s Master Facilities Plan, which has been completed. Dec. 9—A northern Warren County business plans to start next month on a multi-million expansion that will add about 70-75 jobs. The 170,000 square feet building — an investment of more than $20 million — Modula plans to add on the north side of its plant at 5000 Commerce Center Drive plant in Franklin has already received approval by the city. "We've already reached capacity for the facility," said Jeffrey Keith, Modula facilities and environmental, health and safety manager.

Modula opened the 242,000 square foot in 2020 as part of a $30 million expansion, according to the company’s website. It now employs about 160, Keith said.
