    LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Bread Basket of NEPA is a series of seven food pantries in Lackawanna County. "We have a veterans pantry and a Latino pantry.  Serving our most vulnerable is Door Dash, reaching people who do not have transportation," Bread Basket of NEPA Board President Rosemary Bohenek said. The non-profit recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.  Bread Basket of NEPA served more than 29,000 people last year. "The need is great, and it's increasing as the food prices go up.

    DUNMORE, Pa. — Flowers are some of the most popular Mother’s Day gifts, and Jerry’s for All Seasons in Dunmore has a lot of them!  The greenhouse is filled with hanging baskets, potted plants and everything you need for your garden.  Jerry’s for All Seasons has more than 10,000 hanging baskets. Employees say this is one of the busiest times of the year at the store, as people are starting to plant for the season.  Mother’s Day weekend is when many people start their gardens.

    SCRANTON, Pa. — An event in Scranton aims to unite people with live music, comedy and wrestling.  It’s called The Scene Unites Fest.   The event is Saturday May 24th from 11:30-9:30 at the Viking Football Field on Cayuga Street in Scranton. This event is a fundraiser for NEPA Scene, a non-profit local media organization that has spent the last 10 years shining a spotlight on musicians  from across our region.
