Now as we head into spring 2025, it seems Wide Waters restaurant will be getting new life and ownership. BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department is asking the community for help in locating 76-year-old Sandra Jardine. Sandra is described by police reports as having brown eyes, grey hair, and stands at 5'5" tall. She weighs approximately 125lbs. Police said that Sandra was last seen at Ripley Place in the City of Buffalo. Anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately. A Westchester dog rescue is looking for the community's help in locating nine dogs that were allegedly stolen and relocated by a former foster to East Aurora where they have been spotted trying to sell the dogs, according to the rescue. In a post made by A Good Dog Rescue on Facebook on Tuesday, April 15 they wrote, "We have more than one witness that our 9 stolen dogs are being sold on the street to anyone in East Aurora NY in front of the bakery pictured below.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo cat cafe is in the running for Newsweek Magazine's 'Reader's Choice Awards for Best Cat Cafe 2025'. Buckminster's Cat Cafe located on Niagara Street is a coffee shop and adoptable cat rescue all combined in one. The cat cafe's owner Molly Hutton named her business after her cat Buckminster, who she adopted from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter in 2012. Buckminster's is one of 15 cat cafe's in Newsweek's competition.
